Junior Classroom

This is a fun class that promotes social communication through play based learning experiences. The program works to promote language, gross motor, fine motor and social skills while fostering creativity and imagination. Children are encouraged to assert their independence in an age and socially appropriate manner. Teachers also promote basic eating, dressing, and eventually, toilet training skills as children grow toward the next stage of development. Of course, proper manners and independent problem solving skills are focused on as well. This full day program offers your child an inviting and engaging opportunity to learn and grow at an independent rate while enjoying the social environment of his/her peers

Small group story telling, music and learning circles are a part of daily classroom activities. Children are also encouraged to explore the arts and crafts and begin rudimentary drawing skills. Full day sessions include two daily nutritious snacks with milk or juice and a hot catered lunch served with milk to help fuel your child's imagination. Since outdoor play is a must to balance the physical well being, we offer daily outdoor games and activities in our spacious play yard. This well rounded program is specifically designed to encourage a holistic development of the mind and spirit of children. Our classroom ratio is three teachers to fifteen children.
