March is here! We look forward to a month of fun activities and exciting lessons. We added some wonderful programs to our teaching repertoire which include Printing without Tears and Cognitive Fun through Nunu Toys and Equipment. Feel free to ask your child’s classroom teacher about his/her cahier (printing book), and don’t forget to practice phonics/reading, kindergarteners! Our new printing program is doing wonders for letter formation as I see the results in my daughter’s cahier already!
Thanks to all parents for your supportive comments in regards to the Virtues Project. The children are enjoying the lessons, and we hear the virtues language coming forth every day!
Our World Vision program is also coming along nicely. Fabian, our WV child in Streetsville, and David, our WV child in Oakville, appreciate not only the monthly financial support, but also the wonderful letters our children at Kendellhurst send throughout the year. For those of you who don’t know about this program, our kindergarteners bring in a loonie/toonie once a month to support our WV children. Lessons are structured in a way to promote social responsibility and an altruistic spirit in our children at Kendellhurst Academy.
